Not fit for purpose, very short, and size was not stated in the advert !!! Don't know how they could work, and not like any other I have seen in shops!!

Thought they where longer but the size they are in the picture compared to the handles are spot on. Tried them out but honestly don't work anything apart from the sides of your quads, if anyone knows more about how use them then i'm open to listen cos don't want the spend to be wasted if I can use them after all for stronger legs. I have had my cross trainer now over 3 months and I am very pleased with it.
I am a 56 year old woman but it was relatively easy to put the cross trainer together (only had one screw left!) and was rather proud of that fact.
It is a heavy, solid piece of equipment and it but runs really smoothly and soundless. To me it is not much different from the ones you find in the gym.
Still trying out the different programmes, the leaflet is not very clear on this. Don't really understand how the fat/calorie burning programmes work since the pulsometer is not really working. It doens't give a correct pulse rate unless I have done something wrong when entering the data.
Fortunately I have my own pulsometer so it isn't a big issue for me.
I exercise 30 minutes every day, purely to keep my heart fit and do not regret buying this piece of equipment at all.

Received this machine beginning of October 2011, regrettably by the end of December problems occured with the computer which prevent the machine from working. The company have advised i post the whole computer part of the glider to them (at my expense). At the moment they are currently trying to fix the problem. At nearly £500 this was a considered purchase, so i'm really trying to be optimistinc and hope this is not going to be a recuring problem; On a postive note, the glider itself, when working, is absolutely fantstic and really sturdy, in the same way a professional Gym quality machine is. It's just unfortunate i have encountered these problems just 12 weeks into ownership. Will keep you posted on how i get on but the company, so far, have been helpful.

We went for a more expensive crosstrainer as we think its false economy going for a cheap one which has little resemblance to a gym model.The Ultraglide is superb.It glides along with no noise or squeeks unlike some of the cheaper crosstrainers.The stride lenth is 17 inches which is good & you can really feel it working your muscles.This really is a quality product & having used gym models we can safely say that this product easily feels just as good.Assembling the Ultraglide did look rather daunting at first but if you read the instructions & dont rush then it is very straightforward.We took our time assembling it & it took about 90 minutes.
There are loads of programs & setting to accomadate all users & to keep you motivated.This product is heavy which is good, as some of the lighter crosstrainers tend to wobble when in use.The Ultraglide is solid & has no wobble whatsoever.The flywheel is 22kg.Compare that to other models & you will see that it is much heavyer.Other models tend to be around 7kg-11kg.If you read what fitness instructers say about crosstrainers then you will see that they say that the heavyer the flywheel the smoother the workout.We are very pleased with our purchase & would reccomend it to anyone serious about keeping fit & healthy.

Right up front: knowing what I know now, I would buy these stiffeners again. A word of caution: the edges aren't finished particularly well and some of them have a slight burr. This caused one of them to cut through the front of the stiffener pocket on one of my shirts. before you use them check for a burr and if you find one a gentle rub over the edge with emery cloth or a suitable knife sharpener will do the trick. These are a fraction of the price of others and worth the extra effort.

Bought these as a birthday present, and were very well received. The collar bones are high quality steel, rounded edges so won't scratch fabrics, but strong enough that I couldn't bend one if I tried.

Only real niggle is that the larger bones are a little long for most shirts. 24 of the 6.35cm bones would be much better than 12 of each type.

Decent quality product. Fast delivery. Longer size collar stiffeners will not suit most shirts. Shorter size fits all my shirts, even TM Lewin which requires a thinner collar stiffener than most. Sturdy stainless steel will last, unlike cheap plastic ones. Smooth and well rounded - no rough edges. Overall pleased with purchase.

i bought this for starting an ab's blast class and its so good i dont feel the floor through it atall, when i was doing ab's exercises at home i was just on the carpet and it hurt my spine a bit but this makes it so much easier to do more than before.

I bought this mat just over two months ago and have found it to be okay when used on a carpeted floor.

Pros:
- It's cheap.
- It comes with a strap, but I've never used it.
- It works okay on carpet, but only slightly!
- The nylon has okay sweat resisting properties and can easily be cleaned.

Cons:
- It's not too keen on being rolled up and the nylon will most likely suffer wear and tear quicker than an NBR/PVC foam or rubber mat.
- The foam filling isn't exactly "high-density", in fact it's very soft and as soon as you're on it you'll be touching the floor!
- The length is smaller than Amazon.co.uk state it is! (I did notify Amazon's customer service when I bought it, but it seems the details haven't been changed); for future notice the dimensions are actually - Length 126cm x Width 58cm x Density 1cm
- The nylon is slippy on carpets and I don't think it'd be anyone's cup of tea when used on a hard surface such as laminate!

*Update 27th July 2011*: I gave it a second chance and have tried to use it on a newly laminated floor, but unfortunately it's bad news as it gives no protection whatsoever for your knees, etcetera and slips about - you've been warned!
