This excellent new PVC covered steel cable has no-slip grip ergonomic handles with the cord length printed on handle end. With its new heavy duty yoke connection ensures a tangle free steel cord will hold up to intense use while maintaining flexibility.
It also has an ABEC-3 ball bearing for twist free action.

Skipping Ropes,
I am Richard Cowley, I have bought about 5 ropes recently, as I need a specific gage and weight of cord, leather or plastic. I do about 20 minutes 3 times a week in the gym. This cable rope might be of value to some people dependent on requirements. I found this wire-rope a little heavy and also difficult to manipulate if doing the more tricky manoeuvres during speed rope workouts. The wire interior is not as flexible as I prefer comparative to nylon. There are polymer ropes which are just the correct weight for me, it depends on individual height and shoulder strength as to why you need a light rope or heavier. Too light a rope is more difficult to turn continuously over long periods, as it requires more effort. Heavy ropes are also less flexible and so I would suggest a compromise between the two. It is difficult to find the perfect rope I should add.
I took the handles off this rope and put them on the nylon rope as this adds more ease when turning and doing tricks, like doubles, and cross overs. The handles on some ropes are very basic, these are quite good as they don’t put any direct friction onto the nylon which in other cases has snapped due to contact-induced friction. If you want to buy a good rope, it’s seems necessary to buy many and by trial and error through experience you may get one eventually, although an expensive suggestion.
This rope would suit a stronger man, a boxer perhaps who has the strength and endurance for the weight, and who isn’t looking for to much flexibility. The length of this rope would suit people of 5 foot 10 inch and less. It turns very quickly due to the bearing mechanism in the handles. Please don’t expect an exact review in any case, as it is only my limited opinion and I don’t want to mislead anyone. Leather is also very light, but can be soaked in Neat foot oil to add weight. Hope this helps.

|very nice jump rope -but don’t use outdoors,
I quite like this jump rope. It’s very speedy and comfortable
to use. One big drawback however, is outdoor use. I destroyed
the jumping cable in two weeks by skipping outdoors with this.
It’s really meant exclusively for indoor use.
